Since 2014, ROAR has hosted more than 70 workshops attended by thousands of individuals. When the Pandemic hit, we began hosting virtual workshops. We hope to return to some in-person workshops in the latter part of 2023.
ROAR hosts a two-day Phase I workshop about 10 times per year, and a Phase 2 workshop every year or so. Once an individual attends a two-day workshop, they are considered alumni for the phase of the workshop they attended, and can attend subsequent workshops for free with a contribution to cover food. Participants in Phase 2 workshops are strongly encouraged to attend Phase I at least 2-3 times before they attend Phase 2.
Before the Pandemic hit, we also hosted a two-day Youth workshop each summer. We hope to re-establish those in the summer of 2023. In addition, we host three-hour Groundwater Approach workshops. We partner with Wake County organizations, groups, employers, and faith communities to present these trainings to their employees, members, and constituents.
